In a recent turn of events, the world-famous password manager LastPass has been hacked. According to reports, the hackers have gained access to LastPass’ user database, which includes email addresses, password hashes, and other sensitive information.

LastPass has responded to the incident by saying that they are “working hard” to resolve the issue and have already implemented “additional security measures”. They have also advised all users to change their passwords and enable two-factor authentication if they haven’t already done so.

How to change your LastPass master password In order to change your LastPass master password, you will need to log into your LastPass account and then select the “My LastPass Vault” option from the left-hand side menu. Once you are in your LastPass vault, you will need to click on the “More Options” button and then select the “Edit My Vault Passwords” option. On the next page, you will need to click on the “Change Master Password” button. On the change master password page, you will first need to enter your current master password and then enter your new master password in the two fields provided. Once you have entered your new master password, you will need to click on the “Change Password” button. LastPass will then prompt you to log back into your account using your new master password.
