In Kali Linux, you can access the command line by opening the terminal. There are several ways to open the terminal in Kali Linux:
- Click on the terminal icon in the taskbar or in the applications menu.
- Press “Ctrl + Alt + T” on your keyboard.
- Right-click on the desktop and select “Open Terminal” from the context menu.
Once the terminal is open, you will be presented with a command prompt where you can enter various commands to interact with the operating system.
Additionally, you can also access the command line by booting into the text-based console mode, instead of the graphical user interface. To do this, you need to log out and then press the “Ctrl + Alt + F1” keys on your keyboard. This will take you to the first text console, where you can log in and use the command line. To switch back to the GUI, press “Ctrl + Alt + F7” keys.
