Here are the steps to delete an Instagram account:
Using a Web Browser:
Open a web browser and go to Instagram’s “Delete Your Account” page. You can access this page by clicking on the following link: https://www.instagram.com/accounts/remove/request/permanent/.
Select a reason for deleting your account from the dropdown menu.
Re-enter your password to confirm your identity.
Click on the “Permanently delete my account” button.
Using the Instagram Mobile App:
Open the Instagram app on your mobile device.
Tap on your profile picture in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Tap on the three horizontal lines in the top right corner of the screen.
Select “Settings” at the bottom of the menu.
Tap on “Account.”
Tap on “Delete Your Account” at the bottom of the screen.
Select a reason for deleting your account from the dropdown menu.
Re-enter your password to confirm your identity.
Tap on the “Permanently delete my account” button.
Once you have completed these steps, your Instagram account will be deleted, and you will no longer have access to your profile, posts, or messages. If you change your mind and want to use Instagram again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
